David Aikman is a Professor of History and Writer-in-Residence at Patrick Henry College, a Christian liberal arts college 50 miles west of the nation's capital in Purcellville, Virginia. His upper-level courses include history of modern China, modern Middle East history, history of World War I and history of Islam. He also oversees practicums for students wanting to become writers.
